John Cook, the author of the guide has announced the launch of his new improved version. It will be totally different from its predecessor. No longer to be a pdf format, Zygor guide will be transformed into a 100% in-game guide. This means that you will no longer need to minimize to your desktop in order to read the guide. All will be served for you in the flow of the game. It may not sound special but bare in mind that the leveling speed increases dramatically, especially if you have a slow computer. You won't find yourself searching through the pdf to find an exact line of instructions where you've left anymore.
There will be two guides. One for alliance and one for horde. Each of the guides gives you step by step instructions no matter what race you choose. this means that it tells you what quests to pick up, where to do them, etc. There will also be an installation video included in the guide package. It's easy to pick up and understand. The addon files are very small and they take little memory while in game.
The New Features
Another great feature is that the guide will actually remember where you left off at leveling and you can literally shut down the computer and go on a vacation, later on you will still be able to proceed where you've left, thus your progress will be saved automatically. It will not by any means interfere with your current addons so there is no need to get rid of them.
Leveling has become so much easier, thanks to the new era of the guides. It will always be hard, annoying and boring thing to do but at least we can cut the time spent on half.

How to Install Zygor Guides In-Game Leveling Guides For World of Warcraft
It seems some people might be having problems installing or finding the instructions on how to install Zygor Guides in-game leveling guide for World of Warcraft I am going to put the instructions here for those who need them.
There are 7 steps to install Zygor Guides in-game leveling guide and we will go over them all. The first 2 steps can be done 2 different ways, so use whichever is easiest for you. I will go over these first, then go over the remaining steps (3-7).
First Way: steps 1 - 2
Step 1:
After downloading the guide, go to the directory where the file was saved. Unzip/extract the file. This can be done in 2 ways.
a) double left click the file and it will open up showing it's contents that you can then copy. If this doesn't work, try
b) right click the file, then click "extract all". Extracting to the default location should be fine. Then click "extract".
Once the file is unzipped/extracted you will see 3 folders.
- ZygorGuidesViewer
- ZygorGuidesAlliance or ZygorGuidesHorde (depending on which faction you downloaded)
- Cartographer
Step 2:
Find the location of your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. The default location is:
C:Program FilesWorld of WarcraftInterfaceAddOns
Copy the 3 folders (the ones we unzipped/extracted) into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder.
Second Way: steps 1 - 2
Step 1:
After downloading the guide, go to the directory where you saved the file. Copy/Cut the file.
Step 2:
Find the location of your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. The default location is:
C:Program FilesWorld of WarcraftInterfaceAddOns
Past the file into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder and then extract it.
To extract the file:
After copying/cutting and pasting, right click the file, then click extract all. The default location should be fine, but check just to make sure the location is pointed to your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Then click extract.
Make sure these 3 folders are now in your AddOns folder.
- ZygorGuidesViewer
- ZygorGuidesAlliance or ZygorGuidesHorde (depending on which version you downloaded)
- Cartographer
Steps 3 - 7
Step 3:
Log into World of Warcraft and stop at your Character Selection Screen.
Step 4:
Click the red Addons button at the bottom left of your screen. Make sure the following are checked with gold check marks in the list that pops up on your screen:
- Zygor's Guides Viewer
- Zygor's Guides - Alliance and/or Zygor's Guides - Horde ( depending on which guide you downloaded)
- Cartographer
Step 5:
Make sure the Load Out of Date AddOns button is checked in the top right corner above your addons list.
Step 6:
Click the Okay button.
Step 7:
Click the Enter World button.
Congratulations. Your guide is now set up and ready to go.

There are 7 steps to install Zygor Guides in-game leveling guide and we will go over them all. The first 2 steps can be done 2 different ways, so use whichever is easiest for you. I will go over these first, then go over the remaining steps (3-7).
First Way: steps 1 - 2
Step 1:
After downloading the guide, go to the directory where the file was saved. Unzip/extract the file. This can be done in 2 ways.
a) double left click the file and it will open up showing it's contents that you can then copy. If this doesn't work, try
b) right click the file, then click "extract all". Extracting to the default location should be fine. Then click "extract".
Once the file is unzipped/extracted you will see 3 folders.
- ZygorGuidesViewer
- ZygorGuidesAlliance or ZygorGuidesHorde (depending on which faction you downloaded)
- Cartographer
Step 2:
Find the location of your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. The default location is:
C:Program FilesWorld of WarcraftInterfaceAddOns
Copy the 3 folders (the ones we unzipped/extracted) into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder.
Second Way: steps 1 - 2
Step 1:
After downloading the guide, go to the directory where you saved the file. Copy/Cut the file.
Step 2:
Find the location of your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. The default location is:
C:Program FilesWorld of WarcraftInterfaceAddOns
Past the file into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder and then extract it.
To extract the file:
After copying/cutting and pasting, right click the file, then click extract all. The default location should be fine, but check just to make sure the location is pointed to your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Then click extract.
Make sure these 3 folders are now in your AddOns folder.
- ZygorGuidesViewer
- ZygorGuidesAlliance or ZygorGuidesHorde (depending on which version you downloaded)
- Cartographer
Steps 3 - 7
Step 3:
Log into World of Warcraft and stop at your Character Selection Screen.
Step 4:
Click the red Addons button at the bottom left of your screen. Make sure the following are checked with gold check marks in the list that pops up on your screen:
- Zygor's Guides Viewer
- Zygor's Guides - Alliance and/or Zygor's Guides - Horde ( depending on which guide you downloaded)
- Cartographer
Step 5:
Make sure the Load Out of Date AddOns button is checked in the top right corner above your addons list.
Step 6:
Click the Okay button.
Step 7:
Click the Enter World button.
Congratulations. Your guide is now set up and ready to go.

Zygor Guides In-Game Leveling Guides For World of Warcraft
After almost a year of working on them, John Cook of Zygor Guides has finally released his all in-game leveling guide for World of Warcraft. John had previously written guides for the Horde and for the Alliance, both of which were excellent, and I knew that if his new leveling guides were anything like his previous ones they were going to be great.
When I finally got a look at Zygor Guides in-game leveling guides all I could say was Wow! They looked even more amazing then I thought they would. The Horde leveling guide has a record leveling time to 70 of under 6 days. That is fast. Based on the quality, ease of use, and leveling speed, I can say that right now Zygor Guides in-game leveling guides are the best and fastest leveling guides for World of Warcraft.
The guide itself is an add-on that requires installation. It is 100% legal and great measure has been taken to make sure that the it doesn't interfere with any current add-ons you may be using. Included is a video showing you how to install the guide so you won't have any problems.
The guide is very clean looking and very user friendly. It is also full of all the information you require to level extremely fast. No more alt-tabbing out of the game or having to play in windowed mode so you can make reference to the PDF or printed version. Having to look up information on thottbot will no longer be necessary.
Zygor Guides in-game leveling guides are based on questing and as such include who to talk to and where, what quests to pick up and turn in, and where and how to do the quests. Included is contain a starter guide for each race, Horde and Alliance.
